Bio
Courtney Laflin, a LEED BD+C Accredited Professional, received her Bachelor of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2010. After leaving Rensselaer, she began a career as an Architectural Designer for one of the country’s largest architecture and engineering firms, EYP Architecture & Engineering. Courtney’s experience spans a variety of projects in the college and university, government, and corporate sectors, including the Loyola Unified Science Center at University of Scranton and the AIA of Eastern New York award-winning Headquarters and Manufacturing Facility for the GE Transportation Energy Storage Division. In addition to her project work, Courtney is charged with developing and conducting Building Information Modeling (BIM) training sessions, both throughout the firm and for our clients. She has recently completed the Architect Registration Examination.
Courtney also gives back to her community as an ACE (Architecture, Construction and Engineering) mentor for high school students interested in careers in the AE industry and hosts high school student interns within the EYP office regularly.
