Fri Nov. 14 – Sat Nov. 15 @ Greene Gallery

This Friday and Saturday, November 14th-15th, a three-part Portfolio Workshop will take place in the Greene Gallery, with designer Harold Linton as guest lecturer.

The three-part Portfolio Workshop will consist of a portfolio review, lecture, and workshop. One-on-one reviews will begin at 2:00pm on Friday, followed by a lecture at 6:00pm. Saturday’s workshop will take place at 10am. An event fee of $5 will be requested ahead of time, or $10 will be charged at the door. Please see AIAS President Kenta Posey for payment.

This workshop seeks to engage students and challenge them to respond to questions of design and organization in a graphically compelling and effective way. Students will be asked to reflect about their work and examine it critically in order to design a successful portfolio that narrates their work.

Our guest lecturer Harold Linton has run workshops at over 75 architecture schools throughout the United States and abroad. He has authored 24 books and contributed to leading design journals and magazines. His instructional portfolio design content has been quoted and included in 25+ of U.S. leading architecture schools’ application materials and resources.
