The Studio will focus on the design of a New Arab Cultural Center in Washington DC. The studio has a twofold objective – Programmatic, which explores the complex relationship between Architecture and Culture – Political, which examines the inherently problematic definition of what constitutes an Arab Culture and the relationship to the setting of Washington DC.
