Bio
Matt Gindlesparger received his Masters of Architecture at the University of Arizona where he was a graduate of the Emerging Materials Technology program. He received his B.Arch from the University of Arizona and a B.S from Southern Illinois University.
Born the son of a carpenter, Matt grew up to become an expert craftsman and cabinetmaker. While at UofA, Matt focused his work on performative masonry façade systems, and as a result he became well versed in digital fabrication and rapid prototyping methods, as complimentary skills to his dexterity and experience as a builder and fabricator in woods, metals, and polymers.
Those skills are continually put to work and further developed at the Center for Architecture Science and Ecology at RPI where his primary focus is on the design, prototyping, fabrication, assembly, and testing of various next generation building systems.
