The starting point of research is the human body.
Body understood as the universal measure. Body comprehended not only as a physical entity that takes only dimension and scale into consideration but body as whole, as functioning organism.
The aim is to awake our architectural instincts that will concentrate on the physical existence, based primarily upon the verifiable physical and physiological parameters, putting aside, in the beginning, historical and aesthetic factors.

Architecture is a main expression of human culture, but at the same time
it is a primal act of surviving. The construction of a spatial boundary
between surroundings and the interior is the basic task of architecture.

“Architecture has always the intention to be independent from climate, to
protect against the cold, rain and the enemies. Architecture is a
protective space or a shelter. A climate capsule is the origin of the
civilization”*

Our clothing is our second skin, architecture the third. The main elements of the research will be a node, braid, fabric, object. How can we translate the language of clothing, its softness, flexibility and dynamic into language of architecture?

The aim of this semester is to bodily experience of origin of architecture.
