The ARCH program is mandatory for all RPI undergraduates who enter in the fall 2017 and afterward. BS students must participate in the summer after their 4th semester or the accumulation of 32-65 credits.

The Building Science program concentration requires four four-credit-hour courses (or equivalent) that are approved by the director of the Building Sciences program. The purpose of the concentration is to develop specialized knowledge in an area of relevance to the construction of the built environment. Concentrations will be determined and approved by the Director.

  • Students granted an ARCH exception or exemption must provide a report to the Arch office documenting their activities and receive a “S” in order to graduate.
