Technology and Pedagogy from Sci-Arc. His research focuses on new pedagogical models for architectural
education, and new models of practice and project delivery. He is passionate about developing blockchain
business applications for the design and construction industries and has an interest in research-based studios
without a “physical bias”. He works within an experimental and speculative ideology but remains dedicated to
industry applications. His previous research includes robotics, artificial intelligence, machine vision, digital
assemblies, and alternative housing models. He has founded two successful businesses and is currently
working on a blockchain start-up. He previously studied architecture at University College London and holds
a Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was awarded the Henry
Adams Medal. Early in his career, Daniel worked at Philadelphia-based Venturi Scott Brown and Associates
for five years, as a member of a team that designed a new science building at the University of Pennsylvania, a
government center in Toulouse, and a resort in Japan. He later formed a design-build firm in Stamford,
Connecticut, where he designed and built numerous homes for over 20 years. His most recent projects include
a complete renovation of a Park Avenue apartment and a private estate in Westchester County, New York.
