BOOK RELEASE: Lydia Kallipoliti / “The Architecture of Closed Worlds”_
Geofutures Co-Director Lydia Kallipoliti, Ph.D., is author of the recently released book, The Architecture of Closed Worlds, published by Lars Muller Publishers. The book is in worldwide circulation, and was voted the top summer read by the Architect’s Newspaper. During the summer, Amazon listed the book as the #1 release in sustainability and green building.
A book launch is set for December 6th at the Storefront for Art and Architecture in New York City, and the book is currently featured at the Frankfurt Book Fair in Germany. The book will launch in February at the Architectural Association in London and at the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia. Prof. Kallipoliti’s research for the book was sponsored, in part, by her Brown’s Fellowship award from the School of Architecture. The book includes discussions about global warming, recycling and sustainability.
