“Attention!” / Mark Jensen_

Mark Jensen, FAIA, is the founder of Jensen Architects, an award-winning design practice based in San Francisco with a focus on the intersection between art, architecture, and science, designing buildings that engage with the local culture. The firm is highly influenced by his early years in which he grew up surrounded by artisans and designers who helped to cultivate his views on art and science.

Jensen received his Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo working with famed architects including Superstudio, Jim Jennings and Mark Mack, and esteemed fashion designer Enrico Coveri. Formerly the chair of the California College of the Arts (CCA) Interior Architecture Department and the Headlands Center for the Arts Board of Trustees, Jensen was recently appointed to The College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects in 2018.
