THE IDEA OF ARCHITECTURE / KWK PROMES

This Thursday starts the Spring Lectures Series with a presentation by Anna Szewczyk from KWK Promes. The firm, founded by Robert Konieczny in Katowice, has become one of the most successful and recognizable Polish architectural studios. Nominated for the Mies Van Der Rohe Award seven times, KWK Promes has received the prestigious House of the Year Award (2006) from the World Architecture News portal for their Aatrial House.

Anna Szewczyk graduated from Mathematics and Architecture at Poznan University of Technology, continued her studies in Italy at Roman La Sapienza University and Politenico id Milano, and worked as an architect in Rome before joining KWK Promes.
