JAY WICKERSHAM / Conflicting Loyalties: Ethics and the Architect_

Jay Wickersham is an architect and lawyer, and a founding partner in the Cambridge, MA law firm Noble, Wickersham & Heart. He represents leading architectural firms around the US and globally, and is updating the City of Boston’s zoning code to address the next 50 years of sea-level rise. He has served as Assistant Environment Secretary for the state of Massachusetts; as associate professor in practice at the Harvard Graduate School of Design; and as the 2018 president of the Boston Society of Architects. He is currently editing the drawings of H. H. Richardson for an upcoming book.

The annual Arthur T. Kornblut ’63 Memorial Lecture was established with the generous funding of his family, and helps to ensure that our students are informed of the legal complexities of their professional futures.
