Friendship Cabins / Josh Draper (CASE).

Sr. Lecturer Josh Draper develop the Friendship Cabins, an experimental outdoor dining structures in Brooklyn, NYC, as an extension of his work as a researcher at RPI’s Center for Architecture, Science, and Ecology. This project is part of an on-going research work using interlocking plastic bottles (Friendship Bottles).

The project has been highlight:d in The Architect’s Newspaper; The New York Times –where Draper discussed the idea and materiality behind the Peaches Cabin; as well

Draper said that “Friendship Cabins are not only practical, they are robust test beds for CASE to reimagine health and hospitality, plastic waste, and public performance in the city,” for Rensselaer‘s own publication.
