Architecture as a Coherent Act
Rensselaer School of Architecture continues its Fall 2021 Lecture Series this Thursday September 30th at 6:30pm with the online lecture “Architecture as a Coherent Act” by Quito (Ecuador) based architects Gonzalo Diez and Felipe Muller.
Diez and Muller define that their work as “a process” focused in responding to the needs of specific and defined users. While approaching architecture as a professional practice committed to the creation of space in response to pragmatic pressures, they aim to maintain “a consistent intellectual attitude, a line of thought, in search of recognizable language — not as a style, but the construction of a formal idea.”
